About the project

With a story that blends the Robin Hood legend with dystopian sci-fi, cyberpunk, and class struggle, Sherwood called for an equally genre-bending soundtrack. As they crafted the score, collaborators Roahn, Jacob, and Mickey drew on influences from power pop to k-pop, to hip-hop, to epic orchestral music.

Jacob: “Mickey Shiloh was a huge part of our team on this project as we melded power-pop songs with epic orchestral score throughout the series. She brought the spirit of Robin to life as the songs took shape.”

"The director and producers were wonderfully open to our ideas and urged us to find places to push the energy with not-only vocals but pop instrumental elements. As a result the score ran the gamut from traditional orchestra to K-pop to Hip-hop. "
