Presented by YouTube Originals and hosted by Robert Downey Jr, The Age of A.I. explores recent advancements in artificial intelligence and the effects this technology could have on our world. Each episode explores a specific aspect of A.I. and it’s potential uses.

When Jacob and Roahn were first approached about scoring the series, the initial request called for music that mixed ‘Stranger Things with E.T.’ Thrilled at the prospect of writing music like that, they jumped at the opportunity.

But it didn’t work.

Once they started putting tracks to picture, Roahn and Jacob very quickly realized that they needed much more organic and acoustic textures that would support the world of ‘craft’ and ‘ideas’. The show really started to take shape once they found their winning combination: woodwinds, strings, piano and guitar.

According to Jacob, “The real moment of clarity came when we first started scoring for Robert Downey, Jr.’s on-camera footage. Electric Bass ended up being the perfect sound that connected everything together.”
