The original theme song for ABC’s The Wonder Years. Written by Roahn Hylton, Jacob Yoffee, and Scotty Grand.
The opportunity to write a theme for the new series came in the midst of scoring the first season when music supervisor Burt Blacharach convinced the executive producers to give Roahn and Jacob a shot. The decision had been made that a new theme was needed to support the new story that drove this version of The Wonder Years. Competition proved fierce, as the show-runners had reached out to some of the best songwriters and artists in the business. Jacob and Roahn wrote many, many tracks, but kept coming back to the first idea they had finished: a slow instrumental piece originally intended as underscore. They bumped the tempo a few clicks and brought in songwriter and vocalist, Scotty Grand. Lyrics and melody ideas were hashed out and in short order, “All I Know” was born. The song impressed producers Saladin Patterson and Fred Savage and became the new theme song for The Wonder Years.

With a story that blends the Robin Hood legend with dystopian sci-fi, cyberpunk, and class struggle, Sherwood called for an equally genre-bending soundtrack. As they crafted the score, collaborators Roahn, Jacob, and Mickey drew on influences from power pop to k-pop, to hip-hop, to epic orchestral music.
The original soundtrack album to the YouTube Original Series, Best Shot. Released on Water Tower Records in 2018, Best Shot features performances by Mereba, Gary Thomas, Russell Kirk, Cam Archer, Nabeyin Panford, Oh Gosh Leotus, and many more.
Best Shot was the first major collaboration between Th3rdstream founders Roahn Hylton and Jacob Yoffee. After inspiring initial conversations with series director Michael John Warren, Jacob and Roahn began work in a “camp” — a marathon multi-day writing session common in the songwriting world. They spent four days recording and producing over 40 full-fledged songs that became the backbone of the original score. Many more collaborations and recording sessions followed as the series and score took shape. Best Shot was ultimately an example of collaboration at its finest — between new partners Jacob and Roahn, but also between composers and director. The original soundtrack features a curated selection of 20 tracks from the series.
